JUUL – How dangerous are they?

Juul is a company in the United States of America that produces e-cigarettes. One of its products is called Juul cigarette. An e-cigarette is very similar to a normal cigarette in terms of the substance being used. Both the normal cigarette and the e-cigarette use nicotine salts. Nicotine salts are procured from tobacco. While normal cigarettes are ‘smoked’ the Juul e-cigarettes are ‘vaped’.

What is a Juul pod?

Juul e-cigarettes have a cartridge as a part of the design. This cartridge is otherwise known as the Juul ‘pod’. The Juul pod is said to contain ‘Nicotine salt’ which is not used by any other e-cigarette product. The usage of ‘nicotine salt’ is said to give the most similar feel of smoking a cigarette when compared to the normal e-cigarettes. Juul even got their design and component patented since they were the first brand to use nicotine salt as the substance inside their Juul pod. Every Juul pod is equivalent to a whole packet of cigarettes, i.e., one Juul pod contains almost the same nicotine content level that is contained by one whole pack of cigarettes. Further, the amount of nicotine contained in the Juul pod is far more than the nicotine contained in any other e-cigarette in the United States of America.

How long before a Juul pod expires?

As you know, all products have an expiry date or a time period for which they last. The same goes for the Juul pod as well. One Juul pod can deliver as much as 200 puffs or drags to an individual after which there exists no more nicotine content in it.

Dangers of Juuling

Juuling induces a lot of side effects in an individual which include bronchitis, type 2 diabetes, increased blood pressure, lung diseases and many more such problems for those who are actively involved in the practice of vaping. Please click here to find out more

In conclusion, it can be seen that Juuling is in no way a better option than conventional cigarettes. Nicotine in any form will affect the smoker and also the person next to him/her.
